Square Mile Coffee Roasters is a multi-award-winning coffee roasting company. Offering a dedicated wholesale service, we supply coffee worldwide to like-minded, quality-focused cafes and businesses. On a mission to share and foster a global coffee culture, we also ship beans to homes around the world through our webshop and subscription service.

We have an excellent opportunity for a dynamic senior level Executive Assistant. Working with our Managing Director, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a strategic outlook and enjoy finding creative solutions no matter the challenge. An exciting, multifaceted, and rewarding role, we’re looking for someone to make their stamp, bring ideas forward and add value to the company. Discretion and interpersonal skills are essential in this role.

This role will report to the Managing Director.

The job role will include but is not limited to:

  • Acting as the point of contact between MD and team(s)
  • Facilitating internal communication
  • Collecting and collating data for weekly reporting
  • Scheduling and negotiating appointments and meetings
  • Researching and routing correspondence; drafting letters, documents and presentations; collecting and analysing information
  • Maintaining a strong working relationship with internal departments and associated companies
  • Undertaking a wide range of both administrative and project-based tasks as and when required
  • Anticipating, embracing and resolving challenges and changes
  • Managing travel arrangements and expenses for the MD

  • Experience working as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant or in a similar role

  • Able to deal with change, high pressure, and fast-paced environments
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
