Summary of Position:

To plan, carry out and take responsibility for sales activities in assigned accounts and regions to maintain and develop sales of Green Coffee following agreed business plans.

Business development. To develop and implement effective and focused sales strategies for green coffee.

Maintain relationships within the coffee community and with coffee buyers/Roaster/Coffee Shops and Online sales to meet sales targets within the company marketing plan.

To develop and maintain a computerised customer database.

To take responsibility for the technical and professional development of sales.

Promote positive customer experience by being the subject matter expert and authority in all areas of the coffee world during customer meetings and interactions.

Present market insights, futures market trend analysis, forecasts, and coffee supply chain information internally, as part of the company’s data, and to customers.

Help to maintain sufficient availability of green coffee origins, types, and grades within the warehouse for the continued operation of the roastery and to meet forecast sales.

Maintain the right-sized inventory to minimise working capital and follow the company’s optimised inventory models.

To manage account services and resolve client concerns.

Organise cupping events where you can present and sell our green coffee to new clients in the UK. Including the preparation of presentations and proposals.

To monitor and report on sales activities and provide relevant management information.

Respond to and follow up on sales enquiries, new leads, and referrals.
