We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic leader who will work with the owners to drive this disruptive business from start up to chain. As our general manager you will be responsible for creating a superb day-to-day experience for all our customers through professional, friendly and attentive customer service. You will be sales focussed, calm under pressure, with a great resilient attitude. You will lead a team of baristas and one assistant manager, and be responsible for coordinating your staff members as required. We run a busy hire room from the basement of our coffee shop, as manager you will be the point of contact within the coffee shop for the teachers hiring the space and their customers. You will be proactive in maintaining the high standards set by the owners. Leadership experience essential, management experience preferred.

Daily tasks include; Continuous high standards with food and drink prep. Receiving daily food deliveries from our local suppliers and storing as appropriate. Ensuring fridges behind counter are stocked appropriately for the day. Due diligence for food standards, health & safety and hygiene regulations. Open and close site. Main point of contact for teachers hiring studio space. Organising hire room timetable. Ensuring the environment is always welcoming, clean and tidy, and that every customer feels looked after during their visits. Reconciling daily takings. Point of contact for shareholders. Ensure cleanliness of coffee shop is maintained throughout the day.

Weekly tasks; Stock management, ordering and deliveries. Weekly catch up meetings with each member of staff. Weekly catch up meeting with shareholders.

40 hours a week (fixed hours Mon-Fri)

We will provide training for all our staff, please be prepared to attend a few paid days training prior to starting.
