Are you a seasoned coffee professional with a deep understanding of specialty coffee? The Spot, located in London Fields (just a 2-minute walk from London Fields station,) is looking for a driven and entrepreneurial Coffee Shop Manager to help launch and shape our brand-new coffee shop.
This is a unique chance to build something from the ground up, with the freedom to influence everything from team culture to product offering.
We’re proud to be partnered with Allpress Espresso and have invested in a top-tier setup, including a La Marzocco Linea PB and 2x Mahlkönig E65 GBW grinders — perfect tools for someone who truly knows their coffee.
Key Responsibilities:
• Hire, train, and lead a passionate team focused on quality and efficiency
• Curate and refine a rotating menu of high-quality specialty coffee and supporting products
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth service and consistent quality
• Work closely with the owner to shape the business strategy and long-term direction
• Maintain excellent standards in workflow, cleanliness, and customer experience
• Manage and grow The Spot’s social media presence, creating and scheduling engaging content
Requirements:
• Solid experience in the coffee industry, ideally in a senior barista or supervisory role
• Confident working with high-spec equipment and dialling in espresso daily
• Strong understanding of coffee quality, sourcing, and preparation
• Proactive, organised, and able to manage a team and operations independently
• Entrepreneurial mind-set with a genuine passion for building a great coffee business
