Are you passionate about great service, coffee, food and bringing a smile to peoples faces? We are looking for individuals with experience in hospitality to join the Fantail team at our busy Highbury & Islington cafe as Front of House Team Members.
Responsibilities:
Greet and serve customers with a friendly and positive attitude
Take orders precisely and accurately
Provide excellent customer service to every customer
Maintain a clean and welcoming environment
Know the menu and be able to assist customers with menu selections
Serve food and beverages promptly, engaging customers meaningfully in the process
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience
Assist with other tasks as needed to keep the cafe running smoothly
Operate the POS/till accurately
Restock and maintain inventory levels
Ensure all health and safety standards are upheld
Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and cleaning
Manage and resolve customer complaints or issues with compassion and professionally
Contribute ideas to improve service and efficiency
Requirements:
Previous customer-facing experience, ideally in hospitality roles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A passion for providing exceptional service
Ability to work well in a team
Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanour
Reliable and punctual
Hours:
30-40 hours per week
