Workshop has created a new role for an experienced ecommerce manager to join our team. You will be responsible for all social media channels, e-marketing and content creation. The position requires knowledge of ecommerce sales and web analytics as you will be driving online growth. Importantly, we want someone that can create dynamic, innovative content and who can bring creativity, engagement and interest in the brand with fresh ideas and thinking - especially with our social media. We love people who live and breathe speciality coffee, independent brands, food, drink and intrinsically understand our sector, the culture and people within in. In particular we want someone to drive our social media following and improve online community engagement, across multiple social media platforms. We have recently launched our new website and the successful candidate needs to take accountability for driving commercial success. They will need an understanding of web analytics and the ability to report and monitor success and improvements online.

Key responsibilities

In particular we see our social media platforms as critical to the successful of both our B2C ecommerce function and our B2B wholesale, therefore a key responsibility will be to improve content, built communities, increase our “following” and drive levels of online engagement. This is across multiple platforms managing our Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn accounts.

We want to use our social media platform to not only drive commercial success online, but also to champion our wholesale partnerships, which are increasingly diverse and span the independent cafe sector through to 5* Luxury hospitality.

Campaign management and execution of customer acquisition and retention strategies. Driving profitable revenue growth by increasing average order values, improving engagement, improving conversion rates, and driving new customer acquisition

Our e-newsletter is the main revenue driver; therefore, you will be responsible for writing, developing content, maintain conversion rates and increasing the number of newsletter subscribers.

A key relationship will be with roastery team, liaising on coffee releases and product development, with a focus around single origins, special releases and our iconic house blends.

Experience

Experience with Shopify or Shopify Plus, Klaviyo and Adobe software strongly preferred.

Experience in ecommerce and web analytics with proven success in revenue growth.

Experience and proven understanding of brand driven FMCG goods and services preferred.

Strong business and commercial acumen.

Work location

Hybrid working. The role needs to be London centric to ensure the successful candidate can engage with the roastery team and our wholesale partners.
