Brucan is a brand-new neighbourhood café and bakery opening this summer in West Norwood, and we’re on the lookout for friendly, passionate Baristas/FOH to join our founding team.

We’re all about great coffee, seasonal bakes, and creating a warm, welcoming space where people feel at home. We’ll be serving everything from expertly brewed coffee to freshly baked pastries – made in-house daily.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Make consistently excellent coffee and serve it with a smile
  • Help with the day-to-day café operations – from opening to clean-down
  • Take orders and payments accurately and efficiently
  • Create a friendly, community-focused atmosphere for our customers
  • Work closely with our baker (that’s Libby!) to keep the counter stocked and looking great
  • You’ll be using brand new Victoria Arduino equipment

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous barista experience is a plus – but not a must
  • Confident dialling in espresso and pouring latte art (or keen to learn!)
  • Friendly, calm under pressure, and love giving great customer service
  • A real team player – happy to pitch in wherever needed
  • Reliable, punctual, and excited to be part of something from the beginning

Perks of the job:

  • Competitive pay
  • Free coffee and staff meals on shift
  • Friends & family discounts
  • A say in shaping the café culture and seasonal menu
  • Flexible hours – open to full-time or part-time
  • Training to grow your coffee and hospitality skills
  • A share in tips & bonuses

Sound like your cup of coffee? Drop us a message – we’d love to hear from you!
