Brucan is a brand-new neighbourhood café and bakery opening this summer in West Norwood, and we’re on the lookout for friendly, passionate Baristas/FOH to join our founding team.
We’re all about great coffee, seasonal bakes, and creating a warm, welcoming space where people feel at home. We’ll be serving everything from expertly brewed coffee to freshly baked pastries – made in-house daily.
What you’ll be doing:
- Make consistently excellent coffee and serve it with a smile
- Help with the day-to-day café operations – from opening to clean-down
- Take orders and payments accurately and efficiently
- Create a friendly, community-focused atmosphere for our customers
- Work closely with our baker (that’s Libby!) to keep the counter stocked and looking great
- You’ll be using brand new Victoria Arduino equipment
What we’re looking for:
- Previous barista experience is a plus – but not a must
- Confident dialling in espresso and pouring latte art (or keen to learn!)
- Friendly, calm under pressure, and love giving great customer service
- A real team player – happy to pitch in wherever needed
- Reliable, punctual, and excited to be part of something from the beginning
