Company Overview Hundred House Coffee is an established speciality coffee roastery with two primary sites across the UK. We are passionate about exceptional coffee and building meaningful connections with our customers. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic, people-focused Account & Sales Manager to join our team full-time. This individual will play a pivotal role in nurturing existing relationships, expanding our customer base, and contributing to the ongoing success of our brand.
Role Summary The Account & Sales Manager will be responsible for customer engagement, sales growth, and representing the company across various platforms and touchpoints. We are looking for someone with a strong affinity for speciality coffee, a background in customer service, hospitality or the coffee industry, and the ability to work independently within a small, collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities Customer Engagement & Sales • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. • Promote our coffee offerings through thoughtful, service-oriented sales—not hard selling. • Represent Hundred House Coffee professionally across social media, email, phone, and in-person meetings. • Respond promptly to inquiries and ensure high standards of customer service. • Identify and reach out to new potential clients (e.g. cafés, hospitality partners). • Attend industry events, tastings, and customer site visits. • Keep the wholesale sections of our website up to date. • Generate and coordinate the regular emailers for B2B ensuring they are engaging and current.
Product Knowledge & Support • Maintain in-depth knowledge of our products and services. • Liaise between the roastery and clients, sharing feedback, updates, and product information. • Participate in cuppings, tastings, and training, while contributing new ideas and insights. • Prepare and manage product samples and ensure quality standards are met.
Training & Onboarding • Plan and deliver engaging, effective training sessions tailored to customer needs. • Maintain consistency and quality in training delivery, tracking sessions and outcomes. • Support onboarding for new wholesale clients, ensuring smooth transitions.
Equipment Coordination • Serve as the primary contact for clients setting up new equipment. • Coordinate orders and installations, liaising with suppliers and ensuring site readiness. • Oversee key technical details, including utilities and space requirements.
Compliance, Hygiene & Facility Management • Support adherence to health, safety, and hygiene protocols (particularly in relation to assisting customers with their bar flow and set up). • Maintain a tidy, professional, and welcoming environment at the roastery training area. • Follow and uphold open/close and cleanliness routines.
Administrative Duties • Maintain accurate records of customer activity, training, and communication. • Prepare weekly sales reports and updates. • Ensure product sheets and CRM data are current and well-managed. • Coordinate the training and service calendar efficiently.
Candidate Profile We are looking for someone who is: • Passionate about coffee and customer service. • A confident communicator—written, verbal, and in-person. • Organised, self-motivated, and attentive to detail. • Experienced in the coffee industry, ideally with barista or sales experience. • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively as part of a small team.
