Naidre's Cafe & Bakery is the oldest established cafe in the South Slope.  Opened in 2000, Naidre's provides the best homemade comfort food, sandwiches, soups, salads and baked goods in the neighborhood. As many of our menu offerings as possible are made from scratch in small batches, using the finest ingredients. We also use many locally-sourced products from Brooklyn Roasting Co for our coffee, to Barry's Tempeh for our vegan friends. In 2010 we decided to bring all of our baking in-house, to provide better quality baked goods for our customers vs the typical cafe mass-market fare. From morning pastries to cakes, brownies and cookies, all baking is done on-premises from scratch daily. From there we expanded into baking custom cakes & decorated cookies for all occasions under our new branding "The Brooklyn Cake Studio".  Themed birthday cakes for kids are our specialty! Please click on the Gallery tab above for samples of our work.
