The name Merriweather is inspired by the Australian beach that is also the hometown of Pete, our founder. Each morning, Merewether Beach is filled with surfers, swimmers and joggers of all ages enjoying nature before their day at work starts. As part of their ritual, they go to their local café to grab a delicious cup of coffee and something healthy and tasty to eat, crafted by someone who cares. Here in NYC, our highly-trained, talented and passionate baristas sample coffees and carefully adjust the brewing parameters. Every customer who walks through our doors gets the most delicious cup, however they like it served.
