FOUNDED IN GREENPOINT, BROOKLYN

We opened our first cafe location on a quiet street in the Industrial Business Zone of Greenpoint, Brooklyn in 2005.  As an independently owned and operated coffee company, we are proud to have since grown to six retail locations and coffee roastery. Café Grumpy is a Member of the Specialty Coffee Association of America, the Alliance for Coffee Excellence, the National Coffee Association, the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, the Park Slope Chamber of Commerce, Evergreen and is a Certified Made in Brooklyn Company and Made in NYC business.
