Hey! We're Breid. We are a sourdough bakery tucked away in the Bethnal Green railway arches and slowly, like our bread, we are growing. We’ve been building wholesale customers with a focus on local, independent cafes and restaurants for the past 2 years and have recently opened our space to the public! Striving for the perfect balance of taste, aroma and texture, we make our bread in its own time, using sourdough techniques, to obtain the fullest flavour from the finest organic ingredients. Everything we do, we do with an eye on ethics and sustainability. We source our coffee from our friends over at Dear Green, a Glaswegian roastery whose ethics around sustainable, traceable green beans and direct coffee sourcing go hand in hand with our own philosophy. From personal passion and market stalls to a café kitchen and now dedicated bakery premises, we continue to cherish why we do this; baking delicious, nutritious bread, slowly and responsibly, for the local community.
