Ancoats Coffee Co. started out as a small independent specialty coffee roaster in 2013, based in an industrial unit in Ancoats, selling to local companies, bars, hotels etc and retailing to individuals in Manchester via markets / events and online. The company then progressed to a Roastery Cafe setup in Royal Mill in 2015, that encapsulates everything around the roasting process for customers to see and engage with. Company Brand values are the support, inclusion and operation of the Specailty Coffee Association (SCA) and we value their standards and program within our company ethos. We are committed to sustainability and try to implement this at all levels across the business. We are a friendly bunch, generally interested in Music, Art, Photography, Reading, Sports, Social Reforms, Independent approach to business and Manchester as a city and the surrounding areas. We engage with customers in a friendly and helpful manner and try to understand their needs and wants around coffee, coffee drinks and home equipment - gauging where they are on their own coffee journey and making suggestions that are inclusive and helpful to them. So from coffee novice up to expert should be encompassed.
