As the general manager of PRESS London Retail, you will be responsible for the management and performance of two retail stores. You will work closely with your assistant managers, to ensure that retail targets are hit, and put procedures into place to get there. You will split your time between both stores and will spend an afternoon a week in the head office. You will be responsible for the following tasks: - Support the introduction of new products, procedures, marketing initiatives - Team management - motivating, training, scheduling, holiday planning, recruitment, payroll - Ensure that staff work together as one to produce the highest quality products efficiently with a positive attitude and excellent level of customer service - Display, encourage, and inspire high morale, motivation and teamwork in the store - Communicate clearly and concisely all company processes - Respond to team conflicts professionally and work toward positive resolutions - Pull together weekly reports for both stores to present back to head office - Monthly to yearly store planning updates with the CEO - Enforce all policies, procedures, recipes, health codes and safely regulations - Work well under pressure - fast paced and high energy environment - Maintain cleanliness at all times - Product knowledge - helping customers make informed decisions - POS - cash management, IT - Inventory management - Able to take and give direction with confidence - Strong organization and time management skills - Available to work on weekends - Exemplify the desired culture and philosophies of the company
