Rumi’s is a new independent innovative café currently offering speciality coffee and pancakes. We are heading towards social enterprise to promote well-being and the community . We are currently looking for a store manager to join our established team and be involved in a new and exciting concept development. We’re looking for someone with a passion for serving, someone who truly cares about people, who is creative and excited about trying something new. We are a small but fast growing team and want some who’s looking to further their career and fully believe in the brand Penrose ethics’.
The right person for the role will have had previous experience with managing a successful cafe with a brunch kitchen and be hands-on with all operational tasks. In addition, the ideal candidate will require to be well organised and have the capability to implement new ideas and be have a practical operational solutions. They will understand the necessary finances and will be confident in managing staff and all aspects of the day-to-day operation meeting specified targets.
What we are looking for: ESSENTIAL:
• Act as a role model in the company and expand in the branding awareness
• Minimum 2 years of speciality coffee experience
• Minimum 2 years in a relevant management position
• Experienced in dealing with full brunch service
• Understanding of KPI’s
• Familiar with stock control, inventory, ordering and scheduling
• Full availability
• Creative and have passion in developing and innovating
• Marketing and Sales focused to drive the turnover
• Social media assistant
• Food Handling Certification
• SCA Barista Intermediate / Professional certificates
• Kitchen experience
