We’re looking for a passionate Sous Chef to join our small but busy kitchen team.
We’re after someone with excellent technical skill, knowledge of ingredients and experience working in a similar cafe environment.
Our food is all about being delicious, fresh, wholesome, sustainable and innovative. We offer an extensive counter food offer Mon-Fri and all day brunch service on weekends. We do all our own baking, make our own sauces, pickles, chutneys, jams and even some cheese.
The cafe is open 7 days, daytime hours only. The role includes one weekend day and you will work closely with our Head Chef with support from two kitchen assistants.
As we are a small team, we are looking for someone who is proactive, driven, extremely reliable and happy to get involved in all aspects of running a kitchen, as you will be expected to lead and manage the team on our Head Chef’s days off. Any operational experience with budgets and menu creation is a bonus.
