at Terrone & Co. Coffee Roasters
Based in Tottenham Hale, this Job is full time but we are also considering a freelance or more flexible set up with 2 to 3 full days a week guaranteed working for us.
An opportunity to join a dynamic, small, and diverse team with exposure to a wide range of tasks and responsibilities. We’re looking for a super-organised, coffee-loving legend to join the Terrone & Co. Mafia Crew as our Operations & Account Manager.
It’s a hands-on, varied role that keeps things ticking behind the scenes while making sure our coffee tastes amazing!
You’ll be the go-to person for all things coffee—chatting with green coffee suppliers over email, sorting out the occasional espresso machine drama, occasionally running barista training sessions, and if we are busy elsewhere popping in to visit accounts around London (and sometimes further afield).
What You’ll Be Doing: • roasting roasting roasting • use Artisan on mac • treat our GIesen 15 like it’s your baby • remove chafs and keep the roaster tidy and clean • oversee daily operations in our roastery, including order management, packing, and dispatching • occasinally have short assited roasting sessions • roast coffee for other clients we look after as white lable or contract roasters • Provide hands-on support for equipment—including installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining espresso machines and grinders
We’re Looking for Someone Who: • Enjoys connecting with people and has strong customer service skills. • Has solid knowledge of coffee—from farm to cup, including roasting and brewing. • Can run short training sessions to teach basic barista skills to wholesale customers and home users. • Can confidently manage logistics and team schedules. • Has some technical ability—or is keen to learn—when it comes to installing and servicing coffee equipment (not essential).
Perks: • Small team with no frills: no Managing Directors or Heads of Brand breathing down your neck asking for the latest sales trends and pricing updates on a whiteboard. • No micromanaging from the owners (sometimes?)… • Free lunches most days (cook your own pasta with random stir-in sauce, on the house). • Free coffee and beans to take home. • Access to brewing gear at cost price.
