We are looking for a Barista, someone not only with great Barista skills but a real passion for coffee.

We need cover for our pop up stands in Chelsea and Southbank Centre and also our coffee shop in Islington, at the weekends.

Being flexible and available at weekends is essential.

Ground Control, our shop is well known and is featured in the London Coffee Guide. We are a small friendly company, looking for a lovely person with great people skills, to be part of our great team and the right person will be paid well and according to their talents!

You must be an experienced, confident barista, preferably with previous experience of high quality speciality coffee, be able to provide exceptional customer service skills and be a good all rounder.

These venues can be very busy and the coffee we serve has to be top notch as befits a high end enterprise. You must be able to provide not only fantastic coffee but exceptional service and hospitality. Many of our customers are regulars and have come to recognise our commitment to producing a superb cup of coffee each and every-time but also knowledgable guidance in buying our single origin beans. About us: We have a great reputation for our unique Ethiopian Coffees which we source from the highlands of Ethiopia so this is a tree to cup operation and our standards are high. You will — like us need to be passionate about coffee and eager to learn more and make the best of your time. You will show a genuine interest in all things coffee. You: will show care and attention to detail. Your coffee making skills will be on show, so you will be a highly competent and skilled Barista with good Latte Art technics + some years of experience. We have an amazing customer base, we aim to give a highly personal and knowledgeable customer service — always delivered with a smile. You will also need perfect conversational English - our customers like to chat. Customer service is just as important as your Latte Art and coffee technics. Professional with a strong sense of sociability, a good sense of humour, intelligence and common sense — these are key..
