We are looking for a friendly and experienced barista to join our wonderful team at the start of a new and very exciting coffee venture.
We are RIXO, a fashion label that started in two best friends’ living room, and has grown into an international fashion brand with stores in 40 countries. We are opening a 5,000 sq ft flagship store on King’s Road SW3 with a dedicated coffee kiosk at the front of the shop that seeks to serve speciality coffee with outstanding customer service.
The ideal candidate must have: - At least 2 years experience working as a barista within the speciality coffee world - A can-do attitude, confident, personable and trustworthy - Ability to run the day to day requirements of a small coffee kiosk - Experience in dialling in and maintaining all coffee machinery - Develop and maintain excellent latte art skills - Have a high level of cleanliness including the cleaning down of machines and working areas - Happy working independently being the sole barista serving coffee, as well as working as part of the wider RIXO team
We have part-time shifts available, and our opening hours are below, so no really early mornings! Monday 10am to 6.30pm Tuesday 10am to 6.30pm Wednesday 10am to 6.30pm Thursday 10am to 9pm Friday 10am to 8pm Saturday 10am to 8pm Sunday 12pm to 6pm
Starting date: Second week of April
Training days: 9.30am on 6th April and afternoon of Tuesday 11th April. We would ask that you are available for these days which include training from Origin and Nola.
We pay London Living Wage and you get all you can drink coffee :)
