Part time Barista / FOH position. Excellent pay. Young and vibrant team, varied and challenging job role. Free massages. Huge amounts of delicious free food. Schedule 3 weeks in advance. Birthday celebrations. Regular team meetings and events. Flexible shifts. Supportive and friendly working environment.

We need a Barista / FOH to join our amazing team! Saturday and Sunday availability is required!

Job duties include:

  • making beautiful coffee using our La Marzocco Linea with Mythos 1 grinder. We use the best @gentlemanbaristas coffee and @estatedairy cows milk
  • Fast paced serving our customers on the counter, packing bags, educating them about our products and weekly changing menu.
  • Restocking the counter, prepping pastries and sometimes making toasties.
  • Working closely with our back of house production team to inform menu choices and quantities for the following week.

We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented individual to join our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate should have previous experience as a barista trained in all aspects of coffee-making art, from grinder-dialling in to milk-steaming (latte art is a bonus but not essential) and in customer service in a similar environment.

We believe everyone in the team should have the opportunity to express their ideas and contribute to the success of the business, which is why we’re looking for someone who likes to take responsibility for their work, challenge themselves and actively work as part of a team, suggesting solutions when problems arise and helping colleagues out. We hold monthly and regular section meetings in which we develop menus, plan seasonal events, look back at our progress during the previous month and identify our next targets. We maintain excellent cleaning standards by sharing cleaning tasks equally, so that the load doesn’t fall on a single person and everyone takes care of the bakery.

A regular week at work includes checking stock, placing orders, understanding and explaining our products to our customers, keeping the display looking appetising and full at all times. An essential skill for this position is the ability to retain a great amount of information and apply the knowledge of the products and the company’s vision to the betterment of the customer’s experience.

Will you be a good fit?

Role is for 3 days a week.

Pay will start at £12hr depending on experience!
