We’d like to meet a well-mannered barista. We are kindly requesting that friendly and sociable baristas who are passionate about people, coffee, and good old-fashioned chat contact us immediately.
Experience in quality coffee is a big plus, but not essential as training and development will be provided but the ideal candidate will be able to juggle multiple responsibilities and be a team player (an actual one, everyone says they’re a team player), and generally be a good egg.
Why would anyone want to work with us? We’ve been serving coffee since 2014 when we opened our first coffee house on Union Street. Since then we’ve been pluckily trying to reinvent the age-old tradition of serving superb coffee in creative spaces and building a strong connection to our neighbours and community.
What does well-mannered mean? Being well-mannered means remembering names, being friendly to our customers, respectful to our suppliers, and generous to our neighbours. It means being upstanding, behind the counter and in the community. It means always thinking about others.
We’d love to hear from you if you: Are excellent with customers Love a chinwag Have an excellent work ethic Have high quality standards Are an actual team player Love superb coffee
We’ll treat you the way we want you to treat our customers: Positive, friendly environment Extensive barista training program Opportunity to grow within the business Monthly socials, cuppings and latte art smackdowns (when we don’t need to social distance anymore) Opportunity to get involved with new openings and our coffee school Competitive salary A free meal every day
Free coffees all day long and on your days off, too. If that sounds interesting we’d love to hear more about you. Please drop your latest CV and why you want to work with us to:
