We are looking to recruit an experienced General Manager. This position is a role that oversees both our Earls Court Cafe and our kiosk site in West Brompton.

The General Manager will report into the Operations Director and is responsible for all front of house operations and revenue for each site. This position will be suitable for an experienced General Manager looking to move into an Area/Operations Manager role in the future.

This is a high volume, hands-on role.

The ideal candidate for this General Manager position will have:

  • Previous experience in Coffee and a High volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably for a specialty coffee brand or cafe/casual dining.
  • Ability to plan and monitor the day-to-day running of each site to ensure smooth operations.
  • Be able to supervise all front of house staff and provide constructive feedback to promote growth within the business.
  • Be able to review financial data and adjust operationally to promote profitability across both sites.
  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to manage multiple sites simultaneously whilst being hands-on and working on the floor to support staff.

Over Under Coffee are a Kiwi and New York-style specialty coffee shop that serves all-day brunch, coffee, and cocktails. We currently have three sites across London; Earls Court, West Brompton, and Wandsworth and one site in Deansgate, Manchester. This year we will be opening up to 7 more sites across London as well as building our new HQ and the candidate who fulfills this role will play an important role in supporting the opening of the new sites.
