Head of Speciality Coffee Green Bean Sales into Europe

Job Description

The main purpose of this role is to build a thriving new sales department, selling speciality green beans into Europe

Voicevale is a global group of companies specialise in sourcing commodities from all corners of the world and supply food industries from offices in London, Paris, Hamburg, Beijing, Istanbul and La Paz.

We are recruiting for a dynamic, experienced sales person to drive our new sales department.

Experience

The successful applicant will have experience:

  • Selling to wholesale buyers
  • Working in speciality coffee or a related field

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with coffee roasters and green coffee buyers;

  • Developing the marketing strategy of the company;

  • Building and managing a database of customers;

  • Roast coffee samples when required;

  • Negotiate green coffee prices with margins meeting budget;

  • Building coffee education materials;

  • Hosting regular tasting/educational events in lab and at partner coffee roaster premises;

  • Participate in Coffee Trade Shows.

This is an exciting opportunity to building a brand new sales department. It will be based at Voicevale offices in north London and will involve some travel. You will be working closely with our speciality coffee partner, a well-respected London Roastery with excellent direct trade relationships with farmers across the coffee-growing world.

Competitive salary of 25K to 30K depending on experience + Sales Base Bonus.
