CTM is looking for a talented and experienced Barista.

To work in our little gem of a cafe. We work with Campbell & Syme and Bonanza coffee. If your a decent Barista and care about coffee then you will know that’s some sweet beans to work with.

We have a small team that’s growing and as a business we’re always pushing forwards. There is plenty of opportunity to move your career forwards if you bring value to the business, that’s the beauty of working in a small independent cafe.

You will be the type of barista that loves the hands-on craft of actually preparing and serving coffee. Enjoys working in a focused environment of just one cafe, full-time, to allow you to implement, quality control, and maintain every detail of what CTM does with coffee. We want someone who produces excellent coffee.

Coffee is what you do. It’s your profession and obsession! We are looking for someone who; if they’re not making coffee, is training our team or probably researching it. We want a coffee nut who is constantly on the pursuit for How can I make it better next time? Every day you continue to develop and understand the coffees that you are working with better; searching for each great bean’s sweet spot, and trying to understand how to deliver it more consistently.

You will obviously be working in a team so need to be a team player.

About you:

A minimum of 1 year as a barista in specialty coffee. - Be able dial in a variety of coffees for both espresso and filter for optimal extraction and flavour. - Good organisation skills. - Experience in a fast paced environment. - Be able to produce consistently high quality textured milk and pour top notch latte art. - Knowledge of manual brewing.

Responsible for: Everything to do with making awesome coffee & tea in the cafe

Holiday: 28 days

Full-Time:35 -40 hours a week

Cafe opening Mon - Fri 8-5.30 sat 9-5.30 sun 9-4 You will be expected to work most weekends.

Probationary Period: 6 months
