THE ROLE

Management & Housekeeping

  • Responsible and accountable for ensuring the smooth running of all operations of the store
  • An understanding of operational KPI’s including sales, labour and waste
  • Responsible for opening and closing the site using the checklists
  • Cashing up and reconciling the till daily
  • Managing stock, ordering and deliveries
  • Inspect and maintain the equipment in the shop and flag any issues to the Operations Manager
  • Exercise judgement on sales lines based on the wastage sheet of what sells/ isn’t selling
  • Work your labour budget accordingly including rotas, holiday phasing
  • Recruitment, promoting talent and developing succession plans for your shop
  • Responsible for overseeing stock ordering, merchandising and appropriate POS
  • Attend bi-weekly managers meeting and raise any issues for the site
  • To always maintain a safe workplace and adhere to health and safety legislation
