We are looking for an enthusiastic team leader to take ownership of the effective and efficient day-to-day running of Violet cakes. We’re seeking someone reliable and flexible, who doesn’t mind rolling up their sleeves and helping out when needed in other areas outside of their job description. The Floor Manager plays an integral part creating a vibrant and fun atmosphere for their team and a calm and relaxed atmosphere for the customers, while also working to achieve sales and operational targets of the business instructed by the General Manager and Owner.
You’ll be responsible & accountable for overseeing the shop, managing the team, the ROTA, maintaining standards and ensuring that the store runs smoothly and efficiently.
WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Primarily - Someone with initiative!! We’re looking for someone with strong communication, team management and organisational skills, excellent customer service and people skills. You must have great coffee experience and be able to train your team in specialty coffee. Ideally you will have managed a team before, or are looking for the next stage in your career and are ready to lead. You should also have a warm, nurturing, calm & patient personality, and should be excited to work in a creative, growing and flexible environment. An interest in good food, speciality coffee, low intervention ingredients and seasonality is a bonus but not essential.
All candidates must be eligible to work in the UK and will be required to provide suitable and up-to-date ID at first stage interview.
This is quite an immediate start - ideally you will be ready to start work during the week commencing 26th October.
