Ground Coffee Society is seeking a skilled barista to become part of our dedicated team in Putney. We’re a bustling hub for coffee enthusiasts and local regulars, looking for someone who can maintain the high standards our customers expect and support our reputation as a premium coffee destination.

About You

We require an experienced barista with a thorough understanding of coffee, from the science of dialling in to the art of latte pouring. You must be experienced in fast-paced environments, and be able to maintain composure and efficiency during peak times. You should be living within a reasonable commuting distance to Putney to ensure reliability for early starts and weekend shifts which are a requirement for the role.

Key Responsibilities: - Consistently dial in grinders for optimum shot quality. - Steam milk to the perfect texture for a variety of coffee drinks. - Maintain poise and excellence during busy periods. - Provide knowledgeable and friendly interactions with all customers. - Operate and maintain the equipment, including Mahlkonig E80 GBW Grinders and La Marzocco KB90 with ABR.

Requirements: - Proven experience in a specialty coffee shop setting. - Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. - A strong work ethic and a commitment to exceptional quality. - Availability for early morning shifts and weekends.
