The role will require the successful candidate to lead on all aspects of coffee training and maintenance of coffee equipment. To be successful in this position you will need to be ambitious, self-motivated, have great interpersonal skills and have experience in the speciality coffee industry. What we are looking for:

Our coffee trainer will be responsible for delivering all aspects of coffee training, as well as areas of equipment maintenance. You will ensure all training requirements are fulfilled across the company, whether for a new-starter or developing our current teams and assisting with their progression. You will be a key decision maker within our business, getting to know the teams on site and being part of our small but passionate support team.

Our Coffee Trainer should:

  • Be able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of extraction theory principles, equipment and milk preparation.
  • Have excellent communication skills, with confidence and passion.
  • Be organised and responsible for time management.
  • Have a good working knowledge of equipment, with some maintenance skills. You will be working with La Marzocco Linea PB, Mythos One, Mahlkonig EK43, Marco Boilers.
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience working in a speciality coffee training or a related role.
  • Great interpersonal skills.
  • If you have SCA qualifications this is desirable, but not essential.
  • Good written and spoken English skills.
  • Ability to work weekends on occasions.
  • Must have a full UK driving licence
