Exciting opportunity for a hands-on coffee shop manager looking to make a difference in a small and growing business.

Gramos Coffee Bar is looking for a manager to run the operations of our speciality coffee bar in King’s Cross Underground Station. The role includes the main duties associated with managing a coffee bar;

  • setting-up, maintaining or improving operational systems

  • keeping the coffee bar running efficiently day to day

  • quality control to maintain the high quality of products we offer,

  • ensuring health and safety standards and documentation is in order,

  • maintenance and cleaning of equipment and coffee shop,

  • supporting staff in their barista skills and customer service,

  • responding to situations and issues as they occur.

In addition to the duties above, the manager will have the chance to contribute and test new ideas in areas such as shop layout, promotions, product range and customer experience; helping to take our business to the next level.

There is a lot of autonomy in this role, and it is ideal for anyone who enjoys being hands-on, loves hospitality, is great with people, knows about cafe operations, and cares about making great-tasting coffee.


You could be an experienced coffee shop manager looking to make a move to speciality coffee or wanting to have more say in shaping the operations and set up of a coffee bar. Or you could be a head barista or assistant manager working in speciality coffee, looking to take your next step.

You are self-motivated and driven by the need to get things done right. You understand the meaning of hospitality and have a very personable nature; great with customers, great with staff. You have plenty of experience working in coffee shops or cafes, including at manager/assistant manager/head barista level, and are looking for a role in which you can flex your muscles and put your great ideas to the test.


We are a small and independent business driven by our passion for creating create customer experience, through great-tasting coffee, unique products, and friendly chat. Our coffee bar has been open for one year and we are gaining a strong reputation as a hidden gem of great coffee and friendly staff. We work with high-end equipment and accessories for espresso and filter extractions. We serve only single origin coffee, which we roast ourselves and rotate every two-three weeks, so you will be continuously exposed to trying exotic coffees and creating great coffee profiles.

Being small, it means that great ideas are listened to and get actioned quickly. We value new experiences and learning, so our business is a place of discovery and opportunity.
