Put your cape back in the drawer. We’ll get you a real role. This is a Cafe Manager role that isn’t going to be for everyone.
You will be the type of Manager that loves the hands-on supporting and managing your team. Enjoys working in a focused environment of just one cafe, full-time, to allow you to implement, quality control, and maintain every detail of what Attendant does with coffee & food.
Your role will be that of a collaborative one with the Operations Manager. People management is what you do. It’s your profession and obsession! Knowing how to lead your team from the front and support from the rear. Using emotional intelligence to communicate, inspire and drive your team on a day-to-day basis. The role will include all aspects of cafe operation such as basic equipment maintenance, facilities, health and safety, customer-care and administration. The role will also involve working with the Head Chef to achieve the best possible quality of food and beverage provision.
You will be working in and leading a team so need to be a real team player. The standard cafe life cleaning routine presents the opportunity, to get those skills out that your mum taught you growing up, as there are dishes etc that don’t clean themselves.

Reports to: Operations Manager
Responsible for: Everything to do with the smooth running and day-today cafe responsibilities
Holiday: 28 days
Full-Time:40-45 hours a week
Cafe opening hours: Monday – Friday 8.00am – 6.00pm, Saturday 9.00am – 6.00pm, Sunday 9.00am – 6.00pm
Probationary Period: 6 months
