What Barista gets to work Monday to Friday with NO weekends?
DNEG VFX are looking for an experienced Barista to come and help run our in-house coffee shop! DNEG is Europe’s biggest visual effects studio with over 1000 people in-house so it will be your job to keep these artists topped up with coffee!
You must be an experienced Barista with at least 1-2 years working within small boutique coffee houses and have experience creating high level beverages. You will need to be passionate about the café and be a motivated individual ready to deal with a high-pressure environment.
The café will be your responsibility and you will share management duties with the other Barista working staggered shifts, so one will be in charge of opening the café and the other closing. Training will be provided by Union coffee to make sure you are the best Barista in the visual effects industry (and the coffee industry)!
The café will be equipped with a La Marzocco GB/5, 3 Group and also a reverse osmosis machine.
General duties include:
• Creating amazing coffee
• Working with EPOS software
• Checking stock and ordering
• Creating PO’s
• Stock rotation
• Recording wastage
• Printing end of day till report and balancing money
• Stock checks
• Weekly meetings with Facilities
Your shifts would be Monday to Friday (NO WEEKENDS!), alternating between 8am - 5pm and 8:30am - 5:30pm
