We pride ourselves on using Wildfarmed Flour for our baked goods, ensuring they are made with sustainably sourced, high-quality ingredients. Our coffee, sourced by Mission Coffee Works from a sustainable farming cooperative in Honduras, is not only exceptional in flavour but also has a minimal environmental impact.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coffee preparation, excellent customer service skills, and a keen interest in sustainable and high-quality food products. As a Barista at our café, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional coffees, providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service, and contributing to the warm and welcoming atmosphere of our bakery café.

Key Responsibilities:

Coffee Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso, cappuccinos, and lattes and seasonal filter coffee adhering to our high standards of quality and consistency.

Customer Education: Educate customers about our menu, including our use of Wildfarmed Flour and other sustainable ingredients.

Workspace Maintenance: Keep the coffee bar and surrounding areas clean and organised, ensuring all sections of the shop are well-stocked and presentable.

Daily Operations: Assist with the daily operations of the bakery café, including taking orders, processing payments, and restocking supplies. Independently manage tasks across all sections of the shop, from coffee to tills, ensuring seamless operation.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with the bakery team to ensure a seamless customer experience. Demonstrate flexibility, cooperation, and good communication with team members to maintain enthusiasm and motivation.

Health and Safety: Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times. Conduct regular checks on product quality and adherence to food safety practices, promptly communicating any issues to the supervisor.

Qualifications: Experience: Proven experience as a Barista in a high-volume café or coffee shop.

Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of coffee brewing methods and latte art.

Customer Service: Strong customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.

Efficiency: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Passion: A passion for sustainable food practices and high-quality ingredients.

Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Flexibility: Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and bank holidays. What We Offer:
