We’re Mouse Tail, a proudly independent coffee company with a soft spot for strong espresso, flaky pastries, and people who care. Our Canada Water shop is a bit of a gem right on the water, with filter coffee flowing and cinny buns stacked as high as the empire state building.
We’re on the lookout for an Assistant Manager to support our General Manager Marek and his mousey team of baristas. It’s a busy shop with big energy, so we’re after someone who’s calm under pressure, loves good coffee, and knows how to rally a team when the morning rush hits hard.
What you’ll be doing: Supporting Marek in the day-to-day running of the shop
Leading shifts and keeping the good vibes flowing
Helping with training, rotas, stock, and the occasional playlist debate
Making sure our customers leave happier than when they came in
Pitching in wherever needed – we’re all hands on bar here
What we’re after: Previous coffee shop (or restaurant) managerial experience (head baristas welcome)
A love of specialty coffee (we can train you up, but the passion’s gotta be there)
Confident, friendly, and organised – you’re someone who gets things done without the drama
Someone who’s into building a tight, motivated team and keeping standards sky high
