Lantana Café is an Australian owned, independent restaurant business with three central London locations. We are consistently recognised as one of the leading café/restaurants in London, at the forefront of bringing Australian style eating to London. We are open 7 days a week with a menu inspired by Australia’s melting pot of culinary cultures, a carefully curated wine, beer and cocktail list and serve one of the best flat whites in London.
We are looking for an ambitious, experienced Assistant Manager for our Shoreditch site: an 80 seater café/restaurant offering all day dining in a relaxed, informal environment. As well as our in house dining, we offer “Lantana OUT”; a range of delicious freshly made salads, tarts, roast chicken and salmon, cakes and sweet treats to takeaway.
You must have: - Excellent customer service skills supported by FOH experience; - A passion and appreciation for high quality food, wine and coffee; - Strong team leadership skills with an ability to train and motivate staff in a culture based around teamwork rather than hierarchy; - An obsession with quality and process; and - A strong work ethic and ‘can do’ personality.
This is an hourly paid position (£11.70/ hour) for approximately 45-48 hours per week.
We pride ourselves on developing our staff and promotion from within. This position would be an excellent stepping stone for an aspiring General Manager.
