THE ROLE

  • Management & Housekeeping
  • Pathway leading to GM position in the future
  • A brief understanding of operational KPI’s including sales, waste and labour
  • Assist and support the store manager with day to day operational priorities and run the shop in their absence
  • Open and close the site using the checklists
  • Cashing up and reconciling the till daily
  • Support the store manager with managing stock, ordering and deliveries
  • Supporting the store manager with recruitment if and when necessary
  • To always maintain a safe workplace and adhere to health and safety legislation

Quality & Culture

  • To bring fun to the workplace and ensure a happy, motivated, focused team
  • Inspect and maintain shop equipment and flag any issues to the Head of Operations
  • Be enthusiastic and motivate/ engage your team when under pressure
  • Quality assess and coach your team on quality of coffee
  • Be a people person with impeccable customer service skills
  • Hands on – willingness to chip in as and when necessary

  • Willingness to become a GM
  • Passionate about leading a team, with a drive to become a GM of the future
  • To support the General Manager in leading, coaching and developing staff
  • Able to drive best quality standards & behaviours across the store
  • Sales driven and able to lead by example to the teams
  • Be a personal fit: Engaging personality with honesty and straightforwardness
  • Willingness to always go the extra mile for our Customers
  • Must have at least 1 year experience in speciality coffee
